"Hippo Lemonade" process sketches

The first sketch was my original concept, depicting the Hippo flirting with another character while unaware of the table breaking beneath them.

 

While I ultimately decided not to go with that sketch for the final image, it was an important step in the ideation process that I wanted to share here.
